My Most embarassing moments.

Okay so I am not one to get embarrassed very easily. (As some of you have experienced as I go shopping with my mom and sisters and am the one dancing around and singing to the music in the stores. Mind you I am the oldest of the sisters. I also havehad my husband, mother, sisters, brother all tell me when we are out together that I am embarassing them.  Let's just say I don't get out too much!)

But my friend put on her blog her embarassing moments and tagged everyone that read it so I thought I would rack my brain and try to figure out my embarassing moments.

So I have two that I can think of and one that I CANNOT share with anyone but my dear husband.

The first is when Scott and I were dating we were in the kitchen talking to his mom and I passed gas. That wasn't the embarassing part, Jane and I ignored it had happened as "refined" women do. (Right?) The embarassing part came when Scott called attention to it announcing my name and laughing.  The worst part about it is that he has brought it up since then and I think that that is just as, if not more, embarassing.  When I thought that the experience was between Jane, Scott and myself the subject has shown up at family dinner a few times and I could definately feel the red hot growing as if some one poured gasoline on my face and then lit a match.

The second is before I knew I was pregnant with Adelle. Scott and I were staying at his mom's house for some reason, and I was dreaming about going to the bathroom and was woken by a wet feeling in my bed.  I had wet the bed! I was 20 years old and had wet the bed!!  It was about 5:00 a.m. and I felt so bad for my sweet husband as he gathered up the bedding and rushed it to the laundry room to be washed.  To make matters worse that was not the last bed wetting experience during my pregnancy.  Although the second time was not as embarassing because I knew I was pregnant and could blame it on that.

Now share your embarassing moment with the world, it will make you feel good.

Are we Crazy?

So I feel like we can announce this now. No, no I'm not pregnant. But Scott got a new job!!! After 5 years at Costco, and going to school we've finally done it! Scott will be working for Colonial Stock Transfer (Thanks to our good friends Jenn and Kjel for connecting us to your mom, Jenn, and talking Scott up, the both of you!) So things are insane around here because Scott is working two jobs while he trains at "the Office" (I like to call it) So he leaves at 3:30 a.m. and gets home at about 6:00 p.m. It makes for a really long day for the both of us, but I know it's only temporary. (it makes grocery shopping and running errands really interesting having only one car)

Then once he's trained he'll hopefully be able to work at Costco on Saturdays for a while until he can bring in enough money (we are taking a pay cut, but I think sooner than later he will be working only 1 job and I think that will be amazing!!! Because I got a brief taste of it this summer)

Anyway our dreams are coming true, and are so happy with the blessings that we have been given.

By the way since I'm here all by myself most of the time let me know and I would love a visit! (I'd come to see you, but like I said I'm stuck)

Family Home Evening

Here is a shout out to Adelle's primary teachers.

On Monday this week it was Adelle's turn to give the lesson.  Because of our friend Sela's baptism on Saturday we both agreed that would be a good topic for the lesson.

As Adelle was bearing her testimony at the end she told us that she knows that "Jesus Sanctified this World"!  She didn't get that from Scott or I (that I know of) so it must have been her teachers!

Thanks ladies!  She really is listening!

Lilly

One of my favorite saying from the mouth of Lilly these days is Roast beef is no longer Roast Beef at our house. It is now called Roast "Beast"! (chuckle)

Busy, busy, busy

So since I've been on medication the past couple of months I feel like I have been more myself, and I've been incredibly busy organizing, planning, and feeling like I'm getting my life back into order. It's been great, but I haven't gotten a whole lot done as far as house work, but I've made some headway with my groceries, and my car is so clean.

I know that this is probably boring to you, but I just thought I would give you a heads up on what I'm doing.

Scott is still seeing what his options are as far as a career. He has an interview with Costco today, and another with a small company that would be in the Financing field. So we are hoping and praying that something works out for us. We feel like we are already so blessed, we have had lead after lead, and have some options and some that we are hoping for, but still waiting on. It's really exciting for us!

Adelle is having a great summer, and playing with her friends a lot, but all of her friends are going back to school this week, and I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. She is my number one helper though and is very eager to get her chores done, and help when I ask her.

Lilly for some reason turned into a two-year-old! I don't know what happened! My sweet little girl has been quite the challenge for me lately. She spends a lot of time in time-out, and crying, and for some reason she is falling a lot! Friday she fell and cried so hard that she passed out, Scott and I freaked and rushed to the car to take her to the hospital, by then she came and we figured she was going to be fine, and we called the Pediatrician to find out what the heck is going on. He said it was normal for her to do that. Apparently some kids just do that. (The crazy thing about it is that she didn't even fall that hard.) Then on Saturday she jumped off the couch and hurt her knee. It's funny to me to have a child like Lilly when I'm so used to Adelle, who I never have to worry about hurting herself, but had to keep my eye on her to keep her from running away. But Lilly is the opposite, she never runs too far, but is always getting hurt. It makes laugh how they are so different, yet they are such good friends, and sisters.

So that's a little bit of an update on the happenings of the Foutz family.
