So this is completely ridiculous! I started this series on Saturday when Scott had inventory for work. I was staying at my mom's (Scott wouldn't be home until 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. and I HATE being alone at night, it freaks me out) my sister Sarah has the series, she and Amanda have been bugging me to read them (and every other woman in the universe, my brother too! NO Davy you are not a woman)
Anyway I picked it up Saturday and started reading. I read and read until 1:00 a.m. Then in the morning read two more chapters got ready for church, went to church, and returned to my parents for dinner. I was completely anti-social and continued to read. I debated on whether I would take the book home with me because of my Harry Potter experience. (I did almost nothing for two and a half months and just read Harry) Not only that my brother is reading the book I wanted to steal, but I gave into temptation and stole the book from my parents house.
I then woke up the following morning when Scott got up for work at 3:00 a.m. and I finished "Twilight" at almost 9:00 a.m. I then read the first chapter of "New Moon" and had to continue, I went to my parents to help my mom clean-up her house while my sister Sarah took care of my girls. I must have looked completely nuts walking to my parents' house reading a book, but I did, I read through the first couple of chapters and left the book at my parents'. I couldn't take it! I needed a break! I went home that night and the next morning got what I needed done.t Then after grocery shopping, on our way home, I picked up the book from my sister.
I didn't read that night, but again woke up at 3:30 and read. Then that evening I read again in the bathtub for about an hour, and got my family ready for bed myself included, but after the girls went to bed I began to read again. At 10:00 Scott was ready to sleep, but I wasn't. I waited for him to fall asleep then sneaked into the front room. I stayed up until 2:45 a.m. finishing "New Moon". My husband got up for work 15 minutes later.
I cannot believe how addicted I am to these stupid books! I have emotions heightened in me that I haven't felt since I was a teenage girl! It's ridiculous! But I can't get enough. As every other woman that has read these books I have fallen in love with Edward, and doing everything in my power to get my husband to act like him! Am I completely crazy? Yes! The good news is that he is responding very well to my requests and "suggestions".
I know that as soon as I finish this series things will go back to normal (I hope not completely). I can't wait until I can finish the last book and move on!
