Good Karma!
I have to second Shellie on the Good Karma thing. Lately I have felt like I am doing the best that I can with what I have in my life, working really hard, praying a lot, and feeling like things were just not going my way. I just wanted to be given a break. And yesterday we got one.
So many of you know that when Scott and I got married we thought we would jump on the Real Estate band wagon and buy a condo. Mistake #1 it was a one bedroom. Mistake #2 it was in South Salt Lake. Not to bash on SSL. We met many wonderful people living there for almost 3 1/2 years, but it was just somewhere we found that we didn't want to stay. So after putting the condo up for sale and not for sale for about two years, and going through two different Real Estate Agents the condo finally sold, and we lost $11,000.
The past two years we have been putting our every extra penny into this debt, and it has been killing me! (Let's point out that I am an avid shopper, and I stay home most days, which makes me want to shop more.) And lately this debt has been frustrating the heck out of me.
But yesterday we received word that we are going to be able to pay this debt off by April!!!!!!! One month sooner than we had planned!!!
This experience has just been another reminder that our Heavenly Father knows us and is fully aware of our desires, and will grant us our righteous desires in his due time. (Which sometimes can be sooner than we expect! That was a first for me.)
All I have to say is YEA-HOOOOOO!

Bowling!
Who would have thought that bowling for free would cause CHAOS in a small bowling alley. Okay probably a lot of people, but last night I decided (with a massive headache) to brave the crowds with two girls in tow and go to the ASUU free bowling at the Union building. We rode the shuttle down because Scott had the car and he was to meet us there when he got off of work. We arrived about 15 minute early and we were not the first ones there. Within 15 minutes it turned into a zoo!!! There were so many people, and the bowling alley is tiny. The biggest problem was amidst the chaos my girls were running around trying to steal other people's balls, play with the balls that were coming back from hitting the pins, and Lilly's fingers were pinched and I spent probably 5 minutes trying to console her. Anyway we had fun by the end and were so grateful to get out of the mad house.

Lilly's wants to be like Adelle.
Yesterday when I put the girls down for their naps (yes Adelle is taking naps again!) I tried to get the girls to sleep in the same room and it wasn't working out, so I moved Adelle into my room. Adelle was not happy about this arrangement, and cried about it. After settling Adelle in my room (still crying) I went into the girls room to see Lilly. She too was sad and said "Go to timeout too!"

I'm so in love with this kid!
A few funny things about Adelle in the past week.
On Wednesday of last week Scott, the girls and I were walking home from Institute with the Crawfords. Now we were walking across the parking lot and I told Adelle that she needed to hold someone's hand while she crossed the street. So she marched right up to Joe and held his hand the rest of the way home. Then at the Ward Luau on Friday I caught them holding hands again. Adelle are you at that stage already?
Then on Friday we got Adelle a new pair of sunglasses. The rule is, the sunglasses stay in the car, so every time we get in the car she asks for her sunglasses, day or night. (Then tells me I should wear mine whether I can see or not.) Last night when we were leaving my grandparents house she asked for her sunglasses, and then fell asleep. (I wish I had my camera.) I think that gives a new meaning to "I wear my sunglasses at night"!
Then she has picked up this new saying from my neighbor Sherrie-"I'm so in love with _______"and she fills in the blank. When Scott left for work this morning and as he was shutting the door Adelle looks at me and says "I'm so in love with your husband." It's a good thing that she's only four and he is her dad or else "them be fightin' words."
I love Adelle!

Wow!
I just looked at my countdown until we are done with school and just became overwhelmed. We have so little time before this chapter of our lives is over. Even though I have complained a lot these past few weeks I am going to miss it!
The thought of leaving our home and our wonderful neighbors, and our ward, I'm sad. I've been doing this for so long I just can't believe we are almost there!!!! I also don't know what I am going to do with myself and my husband.
I'm also a little worried about having him around more. Because the girls and I have a really good groove going on and sometimes when Scott's around things don't go as well. (Mostly because we spend most of our time playing instead of doing the things we should like napping and cleaning. Scott's just a lot of fun to have around!)
I'm sure everything will be just fine it will just take a little adjusting. Right? Any advice from all of you that have gone from College widow to Graduated married woman?

Wisdom in my sister.
So I was talking to my sister Amanda two days ago and telling her my frustrations with no money, rarely seeing my husband and other hardships that I've been going through, and how much I deserve the blessings that I'm expecting. And she told me something that I thought was profound.
She told me that what I was doing, it's like waiting to get married. When you are looking for it you can't find it. But when you are no longer looking it falls in your lap.
So I have made a commitment to myself to enjoy the blessings that I have and discontinue searching for the blessings that I think I deserve. And also continue in full force the things that I should be doing so that I can be worthy of those blessings when they come (in the Lord's time).
I just thought I would share with you all the wisdom of my younger sister whom I love so much and am thankful for her friendship!

I have recovered!
Well everyone I have recovered from my last crazy blog. I am doing much better now, and hopefully after these next couple of months pass I can feel like a normal woman. It's just a lot of work having a husband away so much and no money to top that off! It's okay though it just gives me an excuse to spend time with my girls doing nothing, but cuddle. (Because there really isn't anything else to do! You can only clean you house so much that you say I don't want to clean my house anymore! I feel that way right now and my house is suffering. Such is life! And it's so much more fun to cuddle!) I think that the weather improving might help the situation too. Hopefully the girls and I can get out of the house this week to improve our cabin craziness!!!
As bad as I am
So last night Scott and I were trying to get Lilly to sleep, and I swear she said "I want six bucks". I then said "you want six bucks?" and she said "yes". Scott's reply was "what are you going to do with six bucks?' The child is so full of it!

If I only had an extra $500
Today has been a hard day for me. It's snowing outside after we had two or three days of beautiful weather. Then Scott tells me today we have $10 of grocery money left over to last us until next Friday! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
The frustrating part is that I have to be the one to get creative over the next eight days and listen to everyone complain (myself included) that there is nothing to eat, because there isn't.
O'well, I also have a long list of things that I would like to buy to curb my insanity and get me a little more organized. I would like to share that list with you now (if you care keep reading, if not sorry about my whinniness)
1. A dishwasher. My dishes would always be done if I had a dishwasher (whether it be Scott or a machine I don't care. I just hate doing the dishes) Having dirty dishes also makes me not want to clean the rest of my house. I don't know why.
2. Toy orgainizers. The ones you find at Lowe's and Target with the colorful bins. To organize crazy toys in the basement
3. $100 to buy my girls a play kitchen for Easter. I've been wanting one for a while now, and have budgeted $20 to get one off KSL.com, but I'm having a hard time finding one that I want in that price range. It sure would be nice to go to Toys R Us and just buy one! (if any of you reading sees one of theses kitchens for around $20 please let me know)
4. Binders to organize my Franklin Day Planner Pages. I've mentioned many times how I LOVE to be organized, but to organize my being organized! Am I crazy?
5. A long list of Mary Kay products to clear up my skin! I HATE HORMONES!!!! (Maybe that's why I'm acting the way that I am today?) By the way some of those products are to make me look pretty, ie: eye shadow, lip liner, etc.
6. More bins to fill the shelf I already have in the girls rooms (organizational freak!)
7. My good hair elastics that I get at Shopko or Wal-Mart for $3 or $4 instead of the cheep one's that I sometimes get at the Dollar store that don't hold my fine hair in place.
8. A pedicure, manicure, eyebrow waxing, teeth whitening (that gets really complicated if you would like ask me about it sometime), and a hair cut! Along with my John Freida Hair care products that I can no longer find at Wal-Mart or Target. Looking on the John Freida Website says that I can find their products at Walgreens, and Rite Aid. There's going to be one angry customer if she can't find them after living with out them for months (I lost track how long) By the way I don't EVER go to Walgreens or Rite Aid.
And my husband thought he married a low maintenance woman. Boy was he wrong.
Mom and Dad you can stop laughing now.
I feel much better now having shared with the world that I wish I had about $500!

Adelle Loves Primary
So yesterday we went to my parents ward for a homecoming. Adelle, Lilly and I went out in the hall to get a drink. On my way back into the chapel I noticed that Adelle was not right behind me like I thought she was. So I went on the hunt. I could not find her anywhere. She couldn't have gotten far, she was right behind me!
My sister came out into the hall to help me find her and she went to the Primary room where another ward's Primary was meeting. Guess who was sitting on the front row. Adelle! She wanted to go to Primary so badly that she joined another ward. Gotta love Adelle.

Ch-Ch-CHEESE!
Today in at church Adelle's primary teacher was giving her lesson and they were "reading" the phrase on the board.
Teresa (teacher) writes Choose the Right on the board. She directs the class to the letters and Adelle says ch-ch-Cheese!

Lilly's a Carnivore
To your left is a 21 month old gnawing on something big and meaty.
To your right you can see that the big meaty thing is a Pork Chop (okay you probably can't really tell, but that's what it is.)
When going through the fridge this evening trying to figure out what we all wanted for dinner. I chose left over Enchiladas, Adelle left over Lasagna, Lilly left over Pork Chop. (tonight was left over night) She wouldn't let me cut them up and I just wanted her to eat so this is the verdict. It amazes me that she eats meat the way she does.
